2014 West Africa Invitational Softball Tournament

What is WAIST ?

W.A.I.S.T stands for West Africa Invitational Softball Tournament. It is a 3 day softball tournament where teams around Africa participated. There are two leagues. The competitive and the social leagues. Both competed for a trophy.

How many days does it last ?

First day (saturday) and second day (sunday) are for elimination match. You win or go home. Winners continue in the Winner's Bracket. And loosers in the Looser's Bracket. Third day (monday) is for semi-finals and finals matchs. 

Who were the last winners ?

Last year winner were ISD Swingers (social league) and Cavemen (competitive league).

How can I know when is the next match ?

If you go in the "Matchs" part of the website you will find the schedule for both leagues added for each days.

How can I know who are the teams for this year ?

If you go in the "Teams" part of the website you will find the list of each teams who will participated for this year.

Is it free ?

It is free entrance. But if you want to eat or drink you will have to go buy something in the differents snacks places in fields. 

Can I upload pictures of the tournament ?

You can share pictures of the tournament in the facebook page. Which is WAIST-Softball. Post them and tagg the page. Then your pictures will be upload in the website. Share experiences with others is the purpose of it.
